Tamar Valley Folk Festival Jan 16 – 17 – 18 2026.

The Festival office opens Friday 16th Jan at 12 noon. Please bring your online tickets to exchange for your Weekend wristband. Weekend tickets get you into all Events, all weekend. Weekend tickets $140 – Concession Weekend $120 – Individual tickets are available at the door (cash). Some available online.

Camping – we have two caravan parks at Low Head. Low Head Tourist Park 63821573, or East Beach Tourist Park 63821000.

Two Writers and a Cup of Tea. Enjoy a book chat with two great authors!

Jeanette Thompson — Author of Bone and Beauty. A wonderful tale, rich with detail, fusing archival evidence and narrative technique to tell the gripping story of the Ribbon Boys and their reputed leader Ralph Entwistle. Set in 1830. Jeanette interviewed by Lorraine Wootton.

Ian Sloane — Author of two exciting Crime/Thriller novels. Ian will chat with Tony Newport about his latest book set in the Pacific. Ian is a sailor and has completed the Sydney to Hobart. Join us for a relaxed and fascinating interview.

Indigenous Workshop for Children and families.  Meet near the Rotunda in Regent Square.

Djuker Hart is an Indigenous Educator and will Play the Didgeredoo, tell stories, dance and entertain us.

At the conclusion Djuker will perform boomerang throwing. A Free Event.

To many, Gordon was the embodiment of Canadian music since the 1960s. He sang of Love, lonely hearts, those lost at sea, the open road and more. Hetty wanted to remind people of what an amazing songwriter and performer the world has lost. Included in your Weekend ticket or $30.

Suzette Herft – A Diamond in the Rust – Tribute concert to Joan Baez

A celebration of the Life and times of one of the most inspiring and incredible singers in our lifetime. Suzette creates a stunning tribute to this great Artist. Don’t miss this epic performance that has won Suzette standing ovations at festival all over the country.

The WYOY Stillhouse Frolic
The New Holland Honey Eaters will transport you back to 1938 (a Sat night) A small country radio station WYOY where the Boone County Revelers, are in the studio performing their long running show, Stillhouse Frolic. It has fast- paced variety show type format, with songs, comedy, news and local interest stories.

Gypsy Jazz Workshop at 1069 Café with Jen Hawley and The Rolling Highjinx.

We will explore La pompe (that infectious swing strum) tasty chords and ways to bring the style to life with plenty of room to jam. All levels welcome. All instruments are very welcome!

A workshop full of fun for all aged kids. Adults welcome. Recorders provided. A Free Event.

Community Concert on Regent Square – A Free Event! Bring hats and water please.

Featuring the Chromosomes – A 9 piece all girl mini big Band. A mix of highly impressive musicians combining swing hits that will have you dancing and singing along, with a bit of jazzy funk, blues and cheeky original compositions. 45 minutes
Followed by Scott Haigh – Scott pays Tribute to the Boss – Springsteen’s America. Enjoy this great show by our talented George Town Artist (50 minutes)

Songwriting Workshop – Finding your Own Voice at The Yacht Club on Esplanade.

Suzette Hertf has studied Songwriting in Nashville as well as some of the best Songwriters in the Country. Suzette will share her knowledge and help you discover your own voice as you develop your skills. Included in your Weekend ticket or $20.
